New Resources Surfacing

Just a quick heads-up -- there is a new protocol "under the surface" that can aid the way you prepare your lessons. Collaborative sharing of thoughts, best practices, best sites and favorite lessons is easy in this Blog. Look for "treasure chests" as teachers begin using this resource extensively.

FOSS taskforce completes summer project

The Free and Open Source Software Summer Taskforce composed of Lisa Thompson (Green), Leticia Alvarado (Hornedo) and Patty Freyermuth (Bond) looked at over 5,000 Open Source applications, and narrowed them down to a few usable ones that were then correlated to TEKS and shared as lesson plans.
